Image registration in BioImage analysis

Prerequesites

  • FIJI Basics (open images, inspect images stack and time lapses, adapt contrast/brightness)
  • Bring your laptop with:
    • The most recent version of FIJI installed, download from here: http://fiji.sc/Download
    • Download the course materials (which can be downloaded below by clicking the "Slides" button)

Goal of the tutorial

  • Lern image registration terminology and principles
  • Lern to differentiate use cases where image registration is needed
  • Interactively try image registration in a couple of use cases such as stitching and time-lapse motion correction
