Fetscherstraße 105, 01307 Dresden
Description

The Biopolis Symposium organising committee is very excited to invite you to join the fourth Biopolis PhD Symposium on February 24, 2020.

With a one day Biopolis PhD Symposium we want to bring together Natural Sciences PhD students from all graduate programs, and provide a forum for us to get to know each other and promote scientific exchange. The symposium will host a number of talks by your fellow students about their projects, and will end with a poster session and get-together where we can discuss research and discover synergistic opportunities.

Apart from the student talks, the symposium will host keynotes and workshops based around the theme of Selling Science to Scientists. These sessions will be focused on a wide range of topics, from scientific communication, presenting your research to both fellow scientists and other non-scientific audiences to entrepreneurship.

This is a great opportunity to learn of your fellow students' research and to present your own. Make sure you don't miss this by registering before 24th Jan, 2020 and submitting an abstract by then. The abstract submission is mandatory for completing your registration and preparing the abstract booklet, even if you didn't apply for a poster, talk or a chalk talk.

Update: Registrations after 31st Jan, 2020 will not be considered for talks, but will be required if you plan to attend or bring a poster. The portal will close on the 7th Feb, 2020
