TARGET AUDIENCE: You already have some basic knowledge of the German language (level A1.1) and / or have participated in a beginner course in the past. The course is open only to MPI-CBG staff / IMPRS predocs. Unfortunately, spouses cannot take part.
LEARNING GOAL:

Speaking plays a large role in this course. Learn to say basic phrases for everyday situations.

Improve listening comprehension of basic German phrases.

Understand basic grammar in conversation, including the Present & Simple Past time forms.
This is the first of three advanced courses starting in 2021. You can participate in all three courses or choose one, based on your availability and interest. Next courses will be planned for end of April to middle of July 2021.
