TARGET AUDIENCE: Absolute beginners or those who need to refresh their basic knowledge in basic German. The course is open only to MPI-CBG staff / IMPRS predocs. Unfortunately, spouses cannot take part.
LEARNING GOAL:

Speaking plays a large role in this course. Learn to say basic phrases for everyday situations.

Improve listening comprehension of basic German phrases.

Understand basic grammar in conversation, including the Present & Simple Past time forms.
This is the second of three beginner courses level A 1.1 starting in 2021. The next and last course level A1.1 for this year will take place from September-December 2021.
COST: The course is free of charge to MPI-CBG employees.
