Description

This is a PRACTICAL module of the course which qualifies participants with a suitable academic degree (e.g. biology) to conduct animal experiments (function A and D) and, in combination with five years of experience with laboratory animals, also to act as a project leader in animal experiments (function B).

Please note that you must have completed the theory course before you can participate in this practical module.

Also non-academic staff (i.e. technicians) may participate the course as it can be used for obtaining the so-called “Ausnahmegenehmigung”.

The following modules will be provided in the course:

- Species Specific Module - MOUSE (Oct 5th full day and 6th morning)

- Species Specific Module - RAT (Oct 6th afternoon and 7th morning)

Course Language: English
Cost: 50€ / participant for each Species Specific Module.

Registrations for Species Specific Module(s) are accepted first come first served as only limited number of students can be taken. Priority is given to BMS users. Also, we initially limit the amount of participants to max. two per lab, to allow equal opportunities for many labs.
