SLC26 Anion Transporters

from molecular structures to pathophysiology

Welcome to the registration page for the International Symposium of the DFG Research Unit FOR5046 on the integrated analysis of epithelial SLC26 transporters!

Our symposium will bring together leading experts on SLC26 transporters and closely related fields. Within our Research Unit we cover solute transport from molecular structure and cell biology up to its (patho)physiology and our meeting program will reflect these diverse perspectives as well.

The meeting takes place in Marburg, which is a charming and historic city approximately one hour from the international airport of Frankfurt am Main. 

Registration

Please register using the registration form below. Registration will only be completed once payment of the registration fee has been received. Following your registration, please submit your poster abstract. In addition to the poster sessions, several slots are available for short talks. These will be selected from the poster abstracts.

Travel

The symposium takes place in the main meeting room of the historic building of the University of Marburg. From Marburg main station, either take a taxi waiting at the station forecourt (or book a cheaper taxi in advance over +49 (0)6421 25100) to take you to Lahntor 3, or take bus lines 2, 3, 6, 7 and C of the Marburger Stadtwerke (schedules here). Get off at the "Rudolphsplatz" stop and you have reached the Old University. Alternatively, there is also the option to reach the venue by a scenic 20 minute walk through the historic center of Marburg.
