Pfotenhauerstraße 108, 01307 Dresden
Description

The Biopolis Symposium organizing committee is very excited to invite you to join the 5th Biopolis PhD Symposium on March 07, 2022.

The one day Biopolis PhD Symposium will bring together Natural Sciences PhD students from all graduate programs in Dresden and provide a forum for us to get to know each other and promote scientific exchange. The symposium will host a number of talks, chalk talks and posters by your fellow students about their projects. This year you can also participate in the FlashTalk competition to present your project or new ideas in 2 min and one slide. At the end of the event, best poster and flash talk will be awarded with exciting prizes!

Keynote Speakers Prof. Stephan Grill and Prof. Barbara Ludwig will give inspiring insights into their research in the fields of biophysics and transplantation studies, respectively. You will also get the chance to join the Speed Reading Workshop to improve your reading skills.

The event is free for you to register and participate, we are charging no registration fees. We are currently organizing a hybrid event that might go fully online depending on the COVID-19 regulations.

This is a great opportunity to learn of your fellow students' research and also to present your own work. Make sure you don't miss this by registering and submitting an abstract latest 21st Feb, 2022.

Please note that after 21st Feb 2022, you can only register to attend the event online via zoom and you will not be able to present posters or talks.
