Course aim: The major objective of the workshop “Good Scientific Practice - Protecting Research Integrity” is to know and understand the basic rules and values of the responsible conduct of research in all its stages, according to local, national and international regulations and guidelines, and legal obligations. The participants will explore the differences and grey areas between good scientific practice, questionable research practice and scientific misconduct. Particular emphasis is given to data management and the publication process with regard to the roles of supervisors, and to the changes introduced by the new DFG Code of Conduct.
