The PhD Retreat 2018 is finally here! The annual PhD retreat is a great opportunity to bring all DIPP students together to enjoy a few days in an exciting location, where we can exchange ideas, discuss science and have fun. As usual there will be student talks, chalk talks, activities and talks from invited speakers. This year we have invited four fantastic external speakers to come and share their research, inspiration and scientific vision with us. The retreat is a great opportunity to share and discuss ideas about your project, interact with fellow PhD students and in general have a fun and lively few days away from Dresden.

This year we are heading to Poland, where we will spend 3 wonderful days in the Hotel Pałac Brunów, located 3.5 km away from the town of Lwowek Slaski and 160 km away from Dresden.

If you want to join us for these inspiring days, do not forget to register until the 6th of April. In addition, we ask everyone to submit an abstract for the Retreat Booklet. This is a must! Unless you want to end up on the wall of shame! :) Those interested in giving a short Student Talk can also apply for it on this site (abstract up to 200 words!).
